JULY 2006: Traveling in Europe, visiting Prague, Zurich, Lugano, Venice, Florence (for the World Cup 2006!), Rome, Nice, Juan les Pins-Antibes, Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, and Paris; flight home via London.
AUGUST 2006: Home! Missed being stuck in London at Heathrow due to terrorist threats by exactly one week... whew!
Now an official Banana Slug as an outside hitter on the UCSC Women's Volleyball team.
APRIL 2007: The home stretch now... last quarter of the first year at UCSC. Looking forward to joining Shanachie and sailing French Polynesia this summer... and probably even sailing the passage west to Tonga/Fiji?!
JULY 2007: Cruising the Iles Sous le Vent (Tahaa, Huahine, Raiatea) in French Polynesia.
JULY 25-31 2007: 691-mile passage from Tahaa to Suwwarow (formerly Suvarov).
AUGUST 4-21 2007: 700-mile passage from Suwwarow to Niuatoputapu in the Kingdom of Tonga. Another 160-mile passage south to Neiafu in Tonga's Vava'u Group.
SEPTEMBER 2007: Cruising Tonga's Vava'u group of islands; return to Santa Cruz just in time for school.
DECEMBER 2007: Cruising New Zealand's Bay of Islands during winter break
JANUARY 2008: Return to Santa Cruz just in time for the start of UCSC's winter quarter; snowboarding on weekends.
APRIL 2008: Earned A Rating competing first-time-ever in CBVA doubles beach volleyball tournament, placing 2nd in A Divison.
MAY 2008: Completed Advanced Open Water Diver certification
JUNE-AUGUST 2009: Sailing Fiji
JANUARY 2010: Granted Permanent/Indefinite New Zealand Residency status
MAY 2010: Earned AA Rating in California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) tournament, Santa Cruz
JUNE 2010: Graduated UC Santa Cruz, B.A. Film & Digital Media Studies/Production concentration, with Honors in the Major
